In an effort to continue to maintain our water mains and improve our roadways, The Lake Havasu City Engineering Division announces construction activity on Lake Havasu Ave. from Kiowa Blvd. to Acoma Blvd. Starting January 3, 2023, for water main replacement and pavement reconstruction. 

Crews are set to install a new water main, which is scheduled to last approximately three months with removal and replacement of full width asphalt to occur next. Traffic control is in place throughout construction and all adjoining businesses within the construction zone will have access and be open to the public. 

Motorists are encouraged to utilize detour routes that are set up near the project corridor, find alternate routes to avoid the area, allow themselves extra travel time and follow all construction signage.
