DRUG INVESTIGATION LEADS TO ARREST

Over the past several months, detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), have been investigating a person selling a large number of fentanyl pills throughout the Lake Havasu City and Bullhead City Area. 

On September 6, 2022, detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, with the assistance of detectives assigned to the Kingman office Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), arrested Lake Havasu City residents Randy Trussell (34), Joe Pilgram (44), and Cody McPhail (37) during a traffic stop on Blake Ranch Road north of Kingman, Arizona. During a search of their vehicle, detectives located approximately 5000 fentanyl pills, several amphetamine pills, methamphetamine, a drug ledger, multiple items of drug paraphernalia, and a loaded handgun.  

As a result of the investigation, the following subjects were arrested:

Randy Trussell was charged with Transportation of Narcotic Drugs for Sale, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Misconduct Involving Weapons (x2).

Joe Pilgram was charged with Possession of Narcotic Drugs for Sale, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Cody McPhail was charged with Possession of Narcotic Drugs, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

All three individuals were booked directly into the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
