FOUR SUBJECTS ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES

Detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit, which is part of the Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET) have been conducting an investigation into a subject selling large quantities of methamphetamine and heroin throughout Lake Havasu City.

On March 29, 2021 at approximately 3:37 p.m. the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit with the assistance of the patrol division conducted two traffic stops in the area of S. McCulloch Blvd. and S.R. 95 and served search warrants on the vehicles. Approximately five ounces of methamphetamine, a usable amount of heroin, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia were located in the vehicles.

Tony Bezdan, a 51-year old Lake Havasu City resident, was arrested for Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Conspiracy to Sell/ Transport Dangerous Drugs.

Kevin Smith, a 37-year old Lake Havasu City resident, was arrested for Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Conspiracy to Sell/ Transport Dangerous Drugs.

Scott Stuart, a 30-year old Lake Havasu City resident, was arrested for Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Conspiracy to Sell/ Transport Dangerous Drugs.

Shanda Barlow, a 32-year old Lake Havasu City resident, was arrested for Possession of Dangerous Drugs for Sale, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Conspiracy to Sell/ Transport Dangerous Drugs. Barlow is additionally being charged with Possession of Narcotic Drugs.

During their initial appearances, all four were held on $50,000 bond and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
