LAKE HAVASU CITY SHARES PROGRESS ON PARK IMPROVEMENTS
March 03, 2026

Lake Havasu City continues to make progress on projects that enhance recreational opportunities and improve accessibility throughout the park system. These efforts reflect the City’s commitment to providing high-quality amenities and ensuring equitable access for all members of the community.

Recent updates include the installation of a new ADA van-accessible parking entrance in the east parking lot at Rotary Community Park. This improvement provides easier and safer access to the ball fields and walking paths for park users.

Construction is also underway at the ball fields at SARA Park. New outfield fencing has been completed on Fields 1, 2, and 4, with work on Field 3 scheduled to begin on March 5. In partnership with Lake Havasu Little League, Havasu Batting Cages, and Anderson Auto Group, two new scoreboards have been installed to enhance the game-day experience for players and spectators. In addition, Parks staff installed new batting cages to further support local athletes and youth programs.

Additional updates will be shared as projects continue, as Lake Havasu City invests in facilities that support recreation, accessibility, and community engagement.
