Lake Havasu City is preparing for an active weekend, March 6–8, with multiple City-permitted special events taking place throughout the community. Residents are encouraged to plan ahead and travel with care as activity increases in several areas of the city.
Among the scheduled activities, the annual Havasu Half Marathon on Saturday, March 7, has traffic considerations. The race begins at 6:30 a.m., with temporary road closures, lane restrictions, and traffic control measures along London Bridge Road from North Palo Verde Boulevard to State Route 95, as well as around the Island and nearby areas.
Impacts are anticipated from 4:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Motorists are encouraged to allow additional travel time, use alternate routes when possible, and remain attentive to runners, volunteers, City personnel, and traffic control devices along the course.
Lake Havasu City is pleased to host events that showcase the vibrancy of our community. With thoughtful planning and cooperation, we look forward to a safe and successful weekend for all.
