MALE ARRESTED IN CONNECTION TO SHOTS FIRED

On May 30, 2022, at approximately 6:16 p.m., Lake Havasu City Police Department officers were dispatched to the London Bridge Beach, 1340 McCulloch Boulevard North, to a report of gunshots fired in the area. During the investigation, multiple handgun ammunition casings were found in the upper parking lot, and two vehicles and one building had been struck by the shots that were fired.

Detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit were called to assist in this incident. Through their investigation, they determined that an altercation between two groups of males had taken place in the lower parking lot of London Bridge Beach near the dog park. The altercation continued into the upper parking lot when a male suspect exited a vehicle, fired off several rounds, and left in a vehicle operated by Anthony E. Rodriguez. The suspect responsible for firing the shots has not been located at this time, and this investigation is still ongoing.

As a result of the investigation, 22-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Anthony E. Rodriguez was arrested for Hindering Prosecution, Obstructing a Criminal Investigation, and Providing False Information to a Law Enforcement. He was released following his initial appearance.
