Mayor Cal Sheehy has been elected to help lead the Mohave County Water Authority (MCWA) as chairman of the committee. Formed in 1995, the primary objective of the eight-member committee is to protect the water allocations of its members that include Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, City of Kingman, Mohave Valley Irrigation and Drainage District, Golden Shores Water Conservation District, Mohave County and Mohave Water Conservation District.

“I am honored to lead the MCWA during a critical time in its history,” said Mayor Sheehy. “I look forward to working alongside the governing members of the committee and recognizing that Mohave County is at its best when we stand together as one voice.”
