NOTICE OF PROPOSED FEE CHANGES - TRANSIT FARES

The City undergoes a review of fees and charges as required by Chapter 3.20 of the City Code. During the process, departments review their fee schedules and evaluate the need for new services as the citizens’ needs and desires change. New fees are added as services are identified. Transit is transitioning to a new system made up of a Fixed Route, Paratransit-ADA Certified Riders Program and a Micro Transit system or OnDemand service. A Market Study was performed by City staff, gathering information from various agencies. The Fares were reviewed and proposed rates were established.

The schedule of fees and charges will be presented to the Mayor and Council for approval on or about May 25, 2021. If approved, the fees are added to the City's fee schedule and posted on the City website and available at the City Clerk’s Office for viewing. The proposed fees are scheduled to go into effect on July 1, 2021, after all posting requirements are met.
