OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING UPDATE

Lake Havasu City Police Department detectives continue to investigate the officer-involved shooting incident that occurred in Fort Mohave, Arizona, on March 27, 2022. The two Bullhead City Police officers involved in the shooting are identified as Officer Mark Baroldy and Officer Troy Teske. Officer Baroldy has been a police officer for 30 years and has been employed by the Bullhead City Police Department for 29 years. Officer Troy Teske has been a police officer for 16.5 years with the Bullhead City Police Department.

The two Mohave County deputies involved in the shooting were Sergeant John Goodwin and Deputy April Long. Sergeant Goodwin has been employed by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office for 16 years. Deputy Long has been employed by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office for 1.5 years.

All of the officers and deputies involved in the incident will remain on routine administrative leave pending the investigation.

The suspect involved in the incident was identified as 21-year-old Bullhead City resident Ayden Kyle.

This investigation is still ongoing, and more information will be released as it becomes available.
