PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS SCHEDULED AT DYLAN DOG PARK
May 07, 2026

Lake Havasu City announces upcoming parking lot improvements at Dylan Dog Park beginning Friday, May 8, through Monday, May 11, weather permitting.

Work includes applying a chip seal surface treatment over the existing millings parking lot, along with fresh striping. To allow the material to properly set and to ensure the safety of park visitors and their pets, the park is temporarily closed beginning early Friday morning, May 8, and reopens the following morning, Saturday, May 9. However, the parking lot remains closed through the afternoon of Monday, May 11.
Temporary parking is available across the street and clearly marked with signage. A temporary pedestrian crossing is also outlined with white chalk to guide safe access to the park.
These improvements are part of the City’s ongoing pavement preservation program, helping protect surfaces from wear and extend their usable life.
Lake Havasu City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation and encourages residents to plan ahead or visit other City dog parks during the scheduled improvement period.
