In celebration of Parks and Recreation Month, Lake Havasu City proudly reflects on the success of its July programming, which engaged more than 1,500 residents through a variety of recreational programs and community events. From outdoor adventures to activities at the Community Aquatic Center and family-friendly fun, the month was filled with opportunities for residents of all ages to connect and enjoy.

The department’s July activities not only brought the community together but also underscored its ongoing commitment to building connections through parks and recreation.

Lake Havasu City extends its gratitude to all staff, volunteers, and partners who made the month such a success. Planning is already underway for upcoming programs in August, and the community is encouraged to stay connected through the city’s website and social media channels for future announcements.

“We’re proud of the incredible community spirit we saw throughout July,” said Gabby Vera, Director of Parks and Recreation. “Our team worked hard to create fun, safe, and meaningful experiences, and we’re thankful to our residents for joining us and making each event a success.
