Lake Havasu City continues making progress on important water and road infrastructure improvements in the Smoketree Avenue and Mesquite Avenue area. As part of this effort, the contractor completes a permanent paving patch in the intersection starting Wednesday, May 21, at 2:00 a.m. through Thursday, May 22, at 8:00 a.m.

One eastbound lane remains open on Mesquite from Lake Havasu Avenue to Acoma. Westbound traffic is detoured from Acoma via Querio, Injo, and Riveria. Southbound access across Smoketree is closed to through-traffic.

Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted detours. The City thanks residents and visitors for their patience and cooperation as we pave the way for a stronger, more reliable infrastructure.
