PUBLIC ASSISTANCE REQUESTED IN GRAFFITI INVESTIGATION

The Lake Havasu City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance on several graffiti incidents that started occurring in Lake Havasu City around May 7, 2021. Since that date, the Lake Havasu City Police Department has investigated several graffiti incidents which are occurring in The Downtown District, The Island District, as well as several locations on Swanson Ave.

The graffiti consists of spray paint, markers, and etched surfaces which are causing significant damage to electrical boxes, street signs, bathroom stalls, trash cans, mirrors, brick walls and other surfaces. The suspects in these cases are unknown. The graffiti consists of the following words: Decaer, Decoer, Niek, Niesk, Nie, Niero, Nier, Tes=21, Tes, CO4, SDF, Gerzo, Stoney, Hak, and “Ha Summer Days Ha”.

Havasu Silent Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those individuals responsible for the graffiti incidents.

If you have any information regarding these incidents, or the identity of the suspects, you are encouraged to contact the Lake Havasu City Police Department. Anonymous information can be called into Lake Havasu Silent Witness at 928-854-TIPS (8477). Citizens can utilize the police department’s anonymous text messaging tip service by texting LHCPD and your message to “CRIMES” or 274637. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through a web page based tip service at www.tipsoft.com or via the “TipSubmit” mobile application. Anyone using Android, Windows or Apple platforms can download the LHCPD app and submit a tip through the app as well.
