Lake Havasu City invites residents, businesses, and community stakeholders to help shape the community’s future during the 60-day public review period for the draft Lake Havasu City General Plan: Shaping Our Future. The draft plan was released on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, and is available for public review and comment through Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
Community members are encouraged to review the draft plan and share their feedback. All comments submitted during the review period will be logged, reviewed by the project team, and considered for incorporation into the final plan. The draft plan and comment portal are available online at the City’s PublicInput site.
To kick off the review period, Lake Havasu City hosts a public open house on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Mohave County Library – Lake Havasu City Branch, Community Rooms A and B, located at 1770 McCulloch Boulevard North. The open house provides an opportunity for residents to learn more about the General Plan process, review draft materials, ask questions, and provide input. The event is held as an open house, and attendees are welcome to drop in at any time.
Residents who are unable to attend the open house may submit comments electronically through the City’s General Plan Update website between now and April 18, 2026.
