TRICK OR TREAT AT YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD FIRE STATION
October 20, 2023

Lake Havasu City Fire Department in coordination with Lake Havasu Firefighter Charities will have local fire stations open and will be handing out candy to Trick or Treaters on Halloween night from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the following fire Stations:

  • Fire Station 1 – 96 Acoma Blvd S.
  • Fire Station 2 – 2065 Kiowa Blvd N.
  • Fire Station 3 – 3620 Buena Vista Ave
  • Fire Station 4 – 3270 Paloverde S.
  • Fire Station 5 – 145 Lake Havasu Ave N.

Lake Havasu City Fire Department would like to wish our community a safe and happy Halloween by reminding you of a few Safety Tips to help you enjoy the evening.

  1. Cross the street at corners, using traffic signals and crosswalks. Look left, right and left again when crossing and keep looking as you cross.
  2. Put electronic devices down, keep heads up and walk, don’t run, across the street.
  3. Teach children to make eye contact with drivers before crossing in front of them.
  4. Have kids carry glow sticks or flashlights to help them see and be seen by drivers.
  5. Slow down and be especially alert in residential neighborhoods. Children are excited on Halloween and may move in unpredictable ways.
  6. Teach your children never to enter a stranger's home or car.
  7. Tell your children not to eat any treats until they return home and treats can be looked at and confirmed safe for consumption by an adult.
