WATER INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADES UNDERWAY ON ACOMA BLVD. STARTING MAY 4
Beginning Monday, May 4, 2026, through June 20, 2026, Lake Havasu City is installing a new water main along Acoma Boulevard, from the intersection of Acoma Boulevard and Havasupai to Bahama Avenue. This phase of work includes installing a new 8-inch water main pipe, fire hydrants, water services, and fire lines.
Traffic remains open in both directions, including access to businesses along the corridor. However, drivers may experience minor delays and are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time, as lane shifts are in place to ensure the safety of motorists and workers.
This project is an important step in improving long-term water system reliability and preparing the corridor for the upcoming Acoma Boulevard paving project.
The City appreciates the public’s patience as crews complete this work safely and efficiently.
As always, the public is requested to use caution and obey all traffic signs when traveling through construction zones. To view maps of the water main project scheduled for the proposed work, click the link below.
