WE-GO-ROUND PLAYGROUND RIBBON CUTTING
April 13, 2026
Lake Havasu City invites the community to join us at Rotary Community Park, located at 1400 South Smoketree Avenue, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the installation of the new We-Go-Round playground equipment. The event, coordinated by Lake Havasu City and the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, takes place on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
The We-Go-Round is an inclusive playground feature that allows children of all abilities, including those who use wheelchairs, to play together safely. A new play surface will also be installed to further enhance safety and accessibility, creating a more welcoming environment for all park visitors.

While the equipment installation is complete, the playground area remains temporarily inaccessible until the new safety surface is finished. The We-Go-Round officially opens to the public on the day of the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The City also extends its appreciation to Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation and Public Works crews for their work in removing the existing equipment and preparing the site, including pouring the new concrete to support these upgrades.
We hope to see you there!
