WEAPONS MISCONDUCT INVESTIGATION
April 22, 2024

On April 18, 2024, at approximately 10:54 p.m., officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the area of McCulloch Bay / McCulloch Blvd N in reference to a domestic violence situation involving a subject with a weapon. 

Upon officers’ arrival, the suspect was observed inside a residence, where he was reported to be armed with many firearms. The Lake Havasu City Police Department SWAT team along with the Negotiator team, were called to assist in this incident. During this initial investigation, communication with the suspect could not be re-established, and it was eventually determined that he was no longer inside the residence.

Detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit responded to the scene to further investigate this incident. The suspect is identified as 31-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Yordi Mulder. At this time, there is no indication of a threat to the community.

Yordi Mulder is still outstanding, and anyone with information as to his location is urged to contact the Lake Havasu City Police Department
