MEET YOUR CITY COUNCIL

Lake Havasu City operates under the council-manager form of government. The Mayor and six members of the City Council are elected at large to overlapping terms of four years. The City Council is the legislative body responsible for the overall policies and direction of the City. The City operates under general law and the constitution and laws of the State of Arizona.

The Mayor shall preside at all meetings of the Council and shall be recognized as head of the City government for service of process, ceremonial matters, and the signature or execution of ordinances, contracts, deeds, bonds, and other instruments and documents. The Mayor shall have no administrative duties other than those necessary to accomplish these actions, or such other actions as may be authorized by the City Council, consistent with general or special law.

All the powers of the City and the determination of all matters of policy shall be invested in Council. The City Council may, by ordinance or resolution, prescribe the manner in which any power of said City shall be exercised.

Cal Sheehy is a longtime Lake Havasu City resident.  Cal is originally from Michigan and moved to Lake Havasu City his sophomore year of high school with his family.  Cal enjoys all the outdoor recreation Lake Havasu City has to offer and can be seen hiking, boating, and off-roading.  Cal also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Cameron Moses is a Lake Havasu High School and University of Arizona Alumni. He is a founding member and past president of the Only Orchids Charity. He is a Rotarian. He is a local business owner. He is a husband and father to 2 amazing little girls.

As a resident and business owner in Lake Havasu City for over 14 years, He is incredibly grateful to call Lake Havasu City home. He’s proud to have graduated from Lake Havasu High School, to have met his wife here, and to be raising his family in the same neighborhoods and school as where he’s grown up.

David LanePERSONAL

David was born and raised in Northern California.  After high school, he enlisted as a military policeman in the United States Air Force.  Upon successful completion of his military duty, he was hired by the California Highway Patrol.  He and wife Stephanie moved to Lake Havasu when he was assigned as the Commander of the California Highway Patrol office in Needles, California.  They grew to love this community so retired and made Lake Havasu City their permanent home.  They have four children, one lives here in Lake Havasu City, two in California, and one in Washington State.  They have four grandchildren, two here and two in California.

Nancy is a result driven businesswoman who prides herself in strategic conversations resulting in positive change. She is a long-term resident of Lake Havasu City with a keen understanding of the uniqueness this city holds. Nancy is a graduate from Lake Havasu High School, shortly after high school she married Lake Havasu City Pioneer Chip Campbell; together they have celebrated over 38 years of marriage. Chip and Nancy raised three children who were all born in Lake Havasu City and are blessed to have seven grandchildren living in their hometown. Nancy believes Lake Havasu City’s biggest asset is the people, and she will strive to keep them safe and healthy with an emphasis in financial stewardship. Chip & Nancy are partners in their family business which includes, Campbell Redi Mix, DL Campbell Company, Pioneer Earthmovers and Window Rock Development, which includes concrete and asphalt manufacturing company with three rural mines in Kingman and Lake Havasu City.
