At approximately 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2023, a fire was reported by the homeowner in the 300 block of Silverado Dr. The occupants were alerted by the smoke detectors, discovered smoke coming from the closet area of the master bedroom and exited the structure. The first arriving fire company reported a working fire with smoke coming from multiple locations of the residence as well as the attic vents.

The Lake Havasu City Police Department would like to make the community aware of some new signage that was recently installed along the easement of a downtown alleyway. Alley 37, which is the alleyway off Swanson Ave. behind Starbucks (52 Lake Havasu Ave.) now has signage prohibiting vehicles from driving southbound from Swanson Ave. This essentially makes it a one-way thoroughfare for northbound traffic on the alleyway, in between Swanson Ave. and Sunflower Dr.

In accordance with City Code Chapter 3.20 Fees and Service Charge Revenue/Cost Comparison & Charging System, the following service center(s) fees/charges are proposed. City Council shall consider adoption of these proposed fees on November 14, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as same may be heard, at the Lake Havasu City Police Facility, 2360 McCulloch Blvd. N., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
